On, 25th of June 2020, IAKS Japan organized an online seminar on „COVID-19: Japan‘s current situation, challenges and future steps regarding sports environment“. The participants focused on how sports and leisure facilities were reopened after the lockdown and which impact the closure has had on the economy. Some cities opened sports grounds for free for their citizens; as a consequence parks were soon crowded with children as long as schools had been closed.
