IAKS ANZ is excited to announce its upcoming half day workshop at the forthcoming ATSA expo on Tuesday 21st May 2024 at Sydney Olympic park. The workshop, titled "Aquatic Access for All Abilities," aims to provide valuable insights into aquatic therapy and the availability of programs.

This event is tailored for aquatic operators, planners, consultants, occupational therapists, physiotherapists, and representatives from the community sections of councils.

The workshop will open with keynote speaker Louise Sauvage, Ambassador for Disability Sport Australia. Louise will share her inspiring story on how water therapy transformed her life, highlighting the significant impact aquatic activities can have on individuals with a disability.

Attendees can look forward to a diverse line-up of speakers from various professions who will share their expertise and insights. Topics covered will include aquatic therapy benefits, pool safety measures, reducing barriers to access, identifying suitable aquatic locations, and tips on building clinicians' confidence in implementing aquatic therapy programs.
